Does it cost anything?
No. The scan and the pledge are free. Confirm your email and we’ll add $1 CAD to our campaign donation. You don’t need to buy anything.
Do I have to start clean-shaven?
No. Start with the beard or moustache you have and leave the razor alone during the campaign. You can also join as a supporter without growing either.
Who wins on Dec 1?
Post your Day 1 and Day 30 photos in the Viking group on Dec 1. The brotherhood votes Dec 1 to 3 on the most progress, not the biggest beard, and winners are announced Dec 4. Each winner takes home a Black Wraith Hero Bundle.
How does the wax add a dollar?
Buy Clear Mustache Wax during the campaign using the same email address you used for your confirmed pledge. We’ll add another $1 CAD, up to $2 CAD per eligible participant in total.
Will I look like the render, and is my photo kept?
The render shows the beard your face can carry, not a promise. Real growth depends on your genetics, the thirty days and how you look after it. Your photo stays in your browser and is not stored. We keep only the name and email you enter to unlock your HD render and count your pledge.
Is this the official No-Shave November?
No. Pledge Your Beard is a campaign from The Beard Struggle, supporting the BC Cancer Foundation. It is not affiliated with the No-Shave November organisation.
